About MindMapGenerator

A mind map maker that opens instantly, works with the keyboard, exports everywhere, and never asks for your email.

Most mind mapping tools want an account before you can type your first idea, keep your maps on their servers, and send your notes to cloud AI. We think a thinking tool should be the opposite: instant, private and portable.

Principles

  • Local first. All editing, conversion and export happen in your browser. There is no backend for your content.
  • No lock-in. Export to open formats — Markdown, OPML, FreeMind, CSV, SVG — and a documented native JSON format.
  • Honest claims. We describe what is approximated in every conversion and do not call templates “AI”.
  • Keyboard first, accessible always. Every action works from the keyboard and from a screen-reader-friendly outline.

MindMapGenerator is built by an independent team that makes free, privacy-respecting developer and productivity tools. Open the editor.
