Mind mapping for project planning
Start broad with scope and stakeholders, then drill down into milestones and tasks — and track them without leaving the map.
- A map makes scope boundaries obvious: what is in, what is out, and what nobody has thought about yet.
- Tasks live where they belong in the structure, with priority, due date and owner.
- The Tasks panel lists every open task across the map, sorted by priority and due date, and exports to CSV for your tracker.
A workflow that works
- 1
Scope
Use the Project scope template: goals, deliverables, in scope, out of scope, assumptions.
- 2
Break down
Add milestones as branches and tasks underneath. Mark them as tasks in the inspector.
- 3
Track
Open the Tasks panel to see what is open or overdue; tick tasks off as they finish.
- 4
Report
Export a PDF for stakeholders and a tasks CSV for your project tool.
