A mind map generator that keeps your ideas on your device

Most “AI mind map” tools send your topic or document to a cloud model. This one does not. Here is exactly what runs today, what is planned, and what we will never do.

Available now

Smart starters

Type a topic, choose a purpose (study, project, SWOT…) and get a well-structured, editable map. It is a template with your topic — not generated facts.

Available now

Local text analysis

Paste notes or upload a PDF/Word file. Structure is detected; plain paragraphs are grouped by key phrases using a deterministic method that runs in your browser.

Planned · opt-in

On-device models

Optional small language models that download once to your browser and run on WebGPU. Expand branch, summarise, suggest questions — always previewed, never auto-applied.

Start from a topic

Start as:

The starter is a smart template with your topic filled in — not AI-generated facts.

Or turn text into a map

Paste an article, notes or a transcript. Structured text is converted exactly; prose is grouped by key phrases. Nothing leaves this page.

Type or paste to see your map.

Our rules for AI features

  • No cloud AI, ever. We do not call OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or any other hosted model, and there is no proxy that could.
  • Opt-in downloads. A model is downloaded only after you see its size and agree. You can delete it from your browser.
  • Preview before change. Suggestions appear as a preview you accept, edit or reject. Accepting is one undoable step.
  • No invented sources. Generated text is labelled as unverified and never claims to have read material you did not import.
  • Manual editing never depends on AI. Everything works without it, offline, on any device.

Your device

A quick, local capability check. Nothing is sent anywhere.

FAQ

Is this “real” AI?

Not today. The starters are curated structures and the text tool uses a classic keyword-extraction method. We say so plainly because many tools blur that line. When on-device models ship they will be clearly labelled.

Why not just use a cloud model?

Because your notes can be confidential — meeting minutes, health topics, unreleased plans. Running locally means there is nothing to leak, log or train on.

Will on-device AI work on my phone?

Small models may run on recent phones with WebGPU; larger ones need a desktop GPU. The app will check first and never download a model your device cannot run.
